Criminal Direct Access Barristers

Everyone imagines that it will never happen to them, and we certainly hope it doesn’t, but there may be a time when you require legal advice concerning a criminal matter.

If you are charged with a criminal offence, you may qualify for legal aid to fund your legal representation. If you would like to know if you qualify for legal aid, please click here.

If you are looking to obtain legal aid, you do need to instruct a Solicitor as a Barrister cannot apply for legal aid for you. At 43 Temple Row Chambers we work in partnership with local Solicitors to ensure each client receives the best advice and assistance from the appropriate service at each and every stage.

If you are looking to instruct a barrister on a direct access basis or you would like any further information please contact the clerks.
